NAME: Collectif Bes Ni Bes

MISSION

The mission of Collectif Bes Ni Bes is as follows:

• To unite individuals residing in Canada who are interested in the cultural, economic, political, and social advancement of the Bassa community under a legal entity.
• To foster robust cultural and historical awareness within the diaspora.
• To engage youth in collaborative cultural and socio-economic projects.
• To facilitate exchange with other associations in Canada and worldwide, initially focusing on knowledge sharing, followed by the promotion and development of Bassa culture.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Collectif Bes Ni Bes has developed several solidarity mechanisms, including a fund designed to support members during significant life events such as bereavement, childbirth, weddings, and scholarships.
Through its academic excellence initiative, the organization annually provides school supplies to students from underserved or rural communities in Cameroon.
Additionally, Collectif Bes Ni Bes is implementing multiple initiatives aimed at supporting students from its communities in Canada to excel in mathematics, English, and French.
